For all those people out there who cant see the reason for this thread, im bored and felt like sharing an experience with you all. so anyways back to the story, about 4 days ago i went for a city ride with one of mates nothing to hard or extreme because my friend has a broken wrist. anyway on the way home we couldn't be stuffed to ride so we caught the train. We got off one stop eraly, my mate wanted to show this little garden gap behind a hospital nothing big about meter gap with a 4ft drop so anyways i hit it with a bit of speed clreaed the gap esaily and landed perfectly well it would have been if i hadn't landed with my brakes on. so there i am with 2 completely buckled wheels trying to fix them ( i had my spooke key thank god).
well anyways 2 days later my wheels were messed up and beyond being fixed by any means i could do, so i took them to my LBS the owner al i've know for a long time he looked extremely confused after looking at my bike, it just so happens that i have flatspotted both of my rims and in 2 different spots on the rear rim. so i bought a pair of dh alexrims $200 all up these rims are heavier then most and are built to run disc's but im running hs-33's and there is a small wall that is just the right size to run pads so its working outjust fine. just so you know my LBS isn't too local its actually a 30min ride but all al stocks is preformance dh bikes and parts so i only go to him. well anyways to get home i needed a bike because i didn't want to wait for him to finish my new rims and he wasn't goin to start it for a while anyway so al decides to give me a loner i was thinking some sort of rustbuket but insteed he pulls out a craftworks rail dual slamon bike well you can imagine the drool down my face to bad i wasnt allowed to thrash it being one of his other costomers bikes that is in for a service. ive posted a pic of it below this bike is not cheap (up around $3000+) but i would definetly recomened it for the hardtail lover.
p.s. sorry for alot of grammar errors but its really late and i dont care so please dont post about my grammer but please feel free to mention if this was a waste of time so i dont do it again otherwise i will
