Does anyone here live in a cool climate, preferably with temperatures currently below 70F? If so, adopt me pleeeeeease. It's 102F here. I'm dying...
I'm well-behaved. I can do household chores. I can amuse you by singing made-up little ditties. I am adept at cooking a variety of Italian, Japanese, and Filipino dishes. I can be your bike buddy. I'm decorative.
Adopt meeeeeeeee.
it's 75F here.
if I adopt you, you will probably ride my folder day in day out.
Coastal San Diego isn't quite that cold, but nevertheless is quite comfortable. :)

My truck was frosted over this morning. It's July. Supposed to be summer. Consider yourself lucky :D
Pardon my lack of sympathy, but it was 105 here yesterday, and that was the sixth straight day of 100+ temperatures. So pppphhhbbbt.

And likely to be again.
However, the heat out here doesn't compare with the heat/humidity in the East. They have it much worse.

Come to Colorado. It's only in the 90's today in Denver. And it's a dry heat.
It's nice and cold here. Of course it is the middle of winter. It's currently -2ºC and it is forecast to get to a very warm 15ºC.:D
I'll adopt you Neko.

And likely to be again. It actually looks like only the high 90s until we get back into the 100s this weekend.
However, the heat out here doesn't compare with the heat/humidity in the East. They have it much worse. No doubt.
Yeah, it's been 100+ here too. If it stays hot I'm gonna load up on the carbs and go into estivation.Luckily up here the coastal regions are two hours or less away, and 20-30 degrees cooler.
it gets down to 59F at night here right now.

I live in the desert.
And Tude is first in line.
you'll love it here, if you don't mind the smell of trash in the morning.
the city reeks of garbage.
pretty soon I think we're going to get an outbreak of flies here.

You'll like it here. It's in the 70's today. You and Mrs. Z can converse in 3 or 4 different languages. The daughter can introduce you to a bunch of folks your age, and I know all the good places to ride - most with quite low traffic. Cocoa and Pebbles will love you, and we can offer cheap Balikbayan service.
Anything over 90-95 F and the "dry heat" argument goes out the window. Whichever way you slice it, it's friggin' hot.
My treatment was San Clemente beach, but now I'm back inland at work :(

hey I live in fairfield
not even a few miles from you, and it was 108 last week

OK, bring the makings for lumpia and come up to cool Oregon. Sorry to say that the Bach Festival finished up last weekend, but singing ditties will work for entertainment. Don't forget the folder and the BF, the more the merrier!

Whoot. Do you like hot springs. There are some about an hour and a half drive from here. The beach is a half hour ride.:D

I think you're in LA so all I can do is commiserate with you. We live in an old apartment in Hollyweird. **** for insulation. Second floor with hotter than hell attic above us. AC? ROFLMAO. We have a window unit in the bedroom. We run it ALL day and it never gets under 76! We have portable AC in the living room. It's on now, with all windows and curtains shut, and the living room is in the upper 80s!
Commiserating....

We can match that bid and raise the lows by a few degrees here in Auckland. Having a really nice day today at 15c currently and just got back from a ride a little while ago. Occassional cleaning and cooking might be enough to get it passed by Mrs. Fred. I'll see what I can do.
