Is there any reason to worry about consuming protein powder? I have a large quantity that expired back in February, but I'm not sure if it means anything. It's still dry, there is no obvious visible defect.

Ideas?

I doubt you'd have anything to worry about.

Expiration dates are really just used to show how long the product has been tested to survive...just a guideline really.

If it smells funny, throw it out. It should be pretty noticeable.

Keep your powder dry.

I just ate some protein bars that were 1 year past the expiration date. No problems.
