Played tennis as a youngster...now I've been playing racquetball after decades off the court.
Boy, is it a tough game. Anyone here play the sport of kings?

I used to goof around with my roommate in freshman year on the courts at the gym. Haven't picked up a racquet in a long time.
Used to play Tennis in High School as well.

I grew up with a kid next door that was an excellent tennis player. He pwned me so bad that I never got into playing.
Racquetball on the other hand...I was pretty good at. Beat my entire P.E. class and played a few times as an adult, though never too seriously. I wouldn't mind playing again, but the only court here requires a club membership.

Played badminton in High School. Just started a regular game every monday with a coworker. Feels good to get back into it.
I love playing tennis and racquetball.
My father played tennis at Texas A&M way back in the day. We was ranked pretty high in some amatuer leagues in Dallas when I was a kid. My brother and I both played, but I was never good enough to make a school team and pretty much quit playing after moving off to college.
Dad quit playing for years and after retirement picked the game back up again. He now teaches the junior team at his country club, and plays several times a week. Even does a bit of traveling with the senior team.
I have no doubt that the old man could run me all over the court and day of the week.

I'm very lucky to live near a 24/7 lighted outdoor court. Learning the difficult single wall game from a 69 year-old master out of New York, where the game was born. Amazing that the old man can run circles around pretty much everybody.
Dives are crazy on the concrete though...ouch.

t making soup with butternut squash.
Step 1: smash it with a racquet over a tin or you're doing it wrong.

I could swing a mean tennis racket back in the day (high school). Sometimes I even hit the ball in the court.
Sadly, after college I never hooked up with anyone for regular action. It's been two or three years since I last played. :(

My parents signed me up for tennis lessons when i was in the 3rd of 4th grade. It didn't take then. I was much more interested in hitting home runs over the fence. I gave it a go a few years ago and really like it although I have trouble finding the time to play lately.

sex or poo
Somebody derails thread to discussions about poo? Who does that?
Besides tennis = hitting balls back and forth while wearing little clothing and grunting, sweating, etc....has nothing to do with sex whatsoever. Pls get your mind sir. Thank you.

Played table tennis competitively for a while. Was ranked about 1550 for those of you who know anything about rankings.
Hoping to take up racquetball before too long...
