hi. wondering about this 60s? olmo. i have a chance to get it but ive heard they are fairly common and not too great. this one looks cool but was wondering if the 600.00 asking price is good. would this be a good addition to my stable?http://photobucket.com/englert

Um...you mean from your other thread?

Well, unlike the Picchio Special in the other thread, I think maybe $600 is not unreasonable, given the condition of the bike. At least, paying that wouldn't be "stupid." But it's not a particularly special Special, either. I believe the frame, which is the salient aspect of the bike IMO, is quite pedestrian.
(Personally, I'd buy it for $400 or so, but doubt I would pay much more. But that's just me.)

What else is in your "stable?" Seems to me "stable" hasn't exactly been the word for it.

Wouldn't pay more then $300 for that thing, if that. What's with the clipped-on top tube cable and the braze-ons just below it? Record RD paired with a cottered crank?
I wouldn't bother. Too much expense for a bike that was half-decent/half-mediocre to begin with, and has little more then condition and snazzy looks going for it.

I don't disagree with Kurt here.
