My C-record pista bb has been making some clicking noices everytime it rotates when the drive side arm is forward. I asked my local bike shop and they said that it could be dirty in the bearings (crap if true) or the bb is loose and it could be trying to move when it is at that spot. I just bought the park tools bbt-5 to reinstall it.
I was thinking of hitting some grease into it while I reinstalled it. Is this a good idea or bad idea. If its a good idea which grease? In the past, I've known that triflow is the best for swiss bones skateboard bearings but would it work the for bb? I've never put anything grease the bb yet, campagnolo says it will last for years without it. (without it getting dirty!)

or if i posted this in the wrong section would a mod move it to the mechanics forum?
