I'm considering attempting this mountain. I can do a 2 mile climb at 9% but I've never attempted something this massive.

Looks to me like it's not that bad... My favorite climbs are 4-4.5 miles in length with average grades of 6-8% and sections that hit 10-13%. The first 3-4 miles of your climb will be the toughest. After that, it looks like it flattens out to 3-4%, which shouldn't be too bad.

That's a good climb. Not because it's steep but because of it's distance (12-miles). The first 4 miles at 7%+ will be good. After that, you'll think it's easy. But, the length will be what gets ya.

The first few miles at 8% are pretty rough, but it should be smooth spinning after that. We've got a 300k coming up in 3 weeks with a similar hill thrown in; 24.5 miles, 4090' of gain. Mostly 5%, so it's not incredibly steep... it's just 24.5 miles long with no rest.
