All those pics, but no beam shots?
That's the most important aspect of a light.

Got 2 for you.
1. What input voltage is required?
2. Explain the 4 options in the ordering process.
cutter k-light (http://www.cutter.com.au/search.php?pg=1&stext=k-light&sprice=&stype=&scat=&sman=)
Tell me what you would recommend for a 45 minute commute in the dark (all road).

Man, that looks awesome! Can't wait till I have some disposable cash to buy that!
My only question/want is for a recommendation for different types of battery setups to power that. With differing optimizationsn or something basic at least. One of those so I got the light engine, now what type questions.

Hey,
1. it fits the Bflex best, so 14.4v is ideal, lipo or liion is good, I also have 18650 cells battery holders in stock (ktronik, not cutter) that could be used as well...you can buy cheap 18650 cells through DX ect...
2. first box: optics, go narrow for road, 10507
second box: tint & flux of LED, go for R2x3 WG cool for road, Q2 or Mixed for off-road
third box: cutter will solder up the driver if you are lazy
forth box: you have to buy the bflex, I guess it for if you already have one...
So for your 45min ride (road) narrow lens, R2 LED (630lm) & 2200mAhr / 14.4v batt + good charger or cheap charger off DX...
hope that helps

14.4v lipo / liion or dynamo driven (with bflex stepdown driver)

Update on the new k-light dynamo model:
I get great power from the circuit I use, see left of graph for mA power across a string of 3 LEDs...

Pretend I know nothing about batteries or battery systems. I just want the light to work - could you recommend anything specific?

4x 18650 li-ion cell, wired in series. In a 18650 battery holder... maybe in a waterbottle or something...cheap & cheerfull
