I am using my Cannondale Ironman 800 bike for timetrials. I am thinking about removing my front brake because of wind resistance. Has anyone else removed their front brake too? I have already made sure all of my cables are taped to the bars.

I wouldn't remove the front brake. You may run afoul of the rules and get DQed. You will get DQed from the tris I help offcialte here. We will give you the oppurtunity to install one if your early enough through tech.

Do you want to crash? Most of your braking effort is through the front, so if you had to stop suddenly you're far more likely to fall. And if you had to brake hard for a turn you'd have to brake much earlier, losing presious time. Far more time than you'd gain for the better aerodynamics. Not to mention the DQing.

rather get an aero seatpost....itll probibly give you the same aero advantage as removing the front brake without risking your life or getting DQed

Definitely don't get rid of your front brake!
