I'm just getting rid of mine because I am trimming down my stable, and it was either the Peloton or the Gunnar, so I chose to keep the hand-made one.

If it's 100% new, you might try a local bike shop. Some shops will swap new parts out, either as even exchange, or with you paying a small price to cover the difference and/or time.

Of course, it helps if you bought the original item there in the first place, but even if it was something you bought elsewhere, some shops are happy to have you in and to earn your business. And from their perspective, as long as the swap is of new equipment and they can sell what you're turning in, what's the harm?

I have a low-miles 06 55cm Lemond poprad cyclocross bike (canti brakes) that is just too big for me. I'd like to trade for a 52-53 cm bike of the same or similar provenience - possibly a road frame. I'm willing to do a bike for bike swap or just frame and fork - whichever works best. I've switched the stem and bars to something a little smaller, but can return it to full stock. Pictures available on request. I'm willing to be pretty flexible with offers - I just need a bike that fits.

Have: 80's Ross Signature 290S. Ishiwata triple butted Cro-Mo Frame/Fork. ~52cm
Lots of detail in the lugwork, and a really nice frame BUT
Has a good amount of scrapes, very very little rust. Paint may be a bit faded.
Headset isnt the smoothest but efinately not in bad shape.
No dents, dings. I found this at the local co-op like so.

Want: Similar quality/condition/valued frame a little bigger ~54-56cm
Needs to have at least semi-horizontal dropouts.
