Electronics, Lighting, & Gadgets - Pedro's Tulio: New multi-tool design

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I saw Pedro's Tulio (http://www.bikerumor.com/2009/07/16/new-pedros-tulio-a-multitool-built-into-a-quick-release-skewer/) on BikeRumor. Clever design. Available Spring 2010. I also posted this under a multi-tool thread in the Mechanics Forum.

I guess it's not totally useless if your bike can't take skewers, but does it lock? If someone steals your wheel they take your multitool too. Brilliant marketing for Pedro.

great find ! really looking forward to it !
I would buy two, one for each bike.
I really like that the skewer is merely the holder of the tools. This is awesome as you do not need to remove the skewer to use the tools. I would most likely install in the rear wheel since that is the wheel that does not get removed on a frequent basis.
