I'd put this in the SART thread but Les asked where he could find the pics once I posted them. So made it easy to track 'em down.

I was in the shop last week when Mark had mentioned an early Wed morn ride. I figured what the heck, I'll give it a whirl. So we met on DayCreek and some other street. I met Les there before Mark arrived, so we chatted a bit. Well maybe it was me chatting!:p I hadn't met Les before but he seemed like a nice dude. Turns out he's done the KOM series, good climber too.

Mark arrive so we headed up to Glen Helen Park. Nice warm day but early so it wasn't so bad. Had a good ride and really happy to find out that both are really safe riders. I've ridden with Mark before and know he's an experience rider. Happy to see Les was pretty darn good too! I know I'm too old to risk what this old bod has left!:D

Well, I had a great time. So I'll be out ther next Wed morning. I'm the type that finds small groups a little more comfy! Great riding with these guys!:thumb:

We met at 7:45. It was a 25 'ish miler.:D

Hebert(Mark) is a great mechanic. He and his old roommate Jack at Coates are two of the best.

Mark and Jack both learned from one of the best at Bud's bike shop many years ago..

I remember that name. My dad bought his first bike from Buds about a year before I started riding. I was around for a couple of years before people noticed I could ride fast up Baldy. There's a reason I would remember that last name.
