Got a pretty cool black spot on my elbow and a small scratch on my side. I don't know if it was intentional, but one of the trucks just decided to slowly move right about 2 feet shortly after traffic began to move.

Ah, the joys of commuting in New York City! 59th street to the bridge is absolutely nuts today. On the bright side, they seem to be resurfacing the horribly bumpy stretch by the park.

A yellow cab tried to take me out this AM on 5th. Amazing how this stuff doesn't even faze me anymore...not sure if that's good or bad!:twitchy:

Must have been something in the air today. A cop SUV was double parked near a corner on 37th Ave. (talking to someone outside the SUV) in Astoria on my way to the bridge creating a blind spot for the driver at the stop sign heading south and me heading west (no stop sign in my direction). The driver didn't look back my way until after she put her foot on the accelerator. Luckily she stopped and I had swerved wide after seeing her at the last minute. I can't blame the driver, I think i scared her as much as she scared me.
