Can't give you any comment on those shorts, not enough info. Voler sometimes gets close to your price range, their shorts are pretty darn good for the money. You can save a little by buying them from Hammer Nutrition, you get a lower price for riding around with their logo on your legs. I find bib shorts more comfortable.

I bought some shorts cheap off eBay that have a really thin chamois in them (i use these for my 30- 40 milers.) I also managed to grab some Sugoi Recaro 2 chamois shorts that are really nice on century rides. The Sugoi's chamois is much thicker and nicer to ride on.

I tried cheap shorts from Sugoi, Fox, and Canari and then tried a pair of mid-priced bibs. What a difference - so much so that I tried a pair of high end Sugoi bibs. If on a strict budget, I strongly recommend staying away from the RS Bibs, because they are GREAT from a fit/finish/comfort standpoint. Decided to hold off for now, but the next pair I'm going to try out are high end Pearl bib shorts - they were recommended by my local LBS (even though they don't carry them).

Check out Aerotech Designs Pro Shorts.

I've got like 5 pairs of them and I love them.

• made in the USA. (PA I believe)
• inexpensive, about $30-35 a pair.
• Durable. Ive crashed in mine a few times and I sustained more damage than the shorts did.
• the company makes sizes up to like XXXL. That is respectable becasue even if you and I aren't that big, some cyclists are and its good karma that this company makes kit for them too.

The only downfall is their website looks like a third graders class project.
