I'm trying to plan the best route for a section from Quincy, IL to Lincoln Nebraska for my trip next year. This seems to be the hardest part to figure out for me. It was suggested to go north from Quincy to Keokuk IA and then catch State Route 136 and take it all the way to the western state line before going on up into Nebraska. Have any of you ran this route or any others between these two cities? This route may be a good road but it seems to be a pretty well used traffic route. Thanks for any help you can provide.
