This is actual peak (I am pretty sure but to be honest I am not a good enough skier to go any higher than where I was standing. So I really don't know if it goes higher. PEople still skiing there yesterday :)

This is a shot of the double black diamond ski run off of peak. Looks pretty intense for me :)

I'm down in the desert, what are all those white patches?

The official plan is as follows

Whistler is full time full on trails at bottom (which I am sure you know)
2004 Garbonzo opens. If, and only if, we continue to see growth expansion will continue. The plan is at least 3 years before further expansion
In 3 years (min depending on growth) - potentially expanding to creekside of whistler. Will be overall steeper trails in more tree growth. If we continue to see growth in popularity expansion to Blackcomb will be considered.

So no right now there are no official trails on blackcomb. There are some on the sides but nothing lift assisted.

I was playing in the snow. On blackcomb they have it open all summer to snowboarders. In one day you COULD snowboard in the morning, sunbathe in the afternoon and dh in the evening. Fun times :D

I don't think the park will get to peak. Snow there basically year round. But over the top is the rest of the village and claims are they will be going back there. Should be some good times :)
