Hello. I am new here. I was given a 54cm steel Diamant model #167 recently. At first it seemed to be nothing special, but with inspection it curiously has a 53/45, 11/14 gearing. Surely this is not an east german recreational setup. It also has a slightly 'compact" front triangle which I am not sure if i should attribute to a manufacturing defect or design. I have read that a Diamant was used by world champion in the '60's. Any ideas? Thanks much.

any Diamant is rare, usually we see a Belgian if anything and not often, so PICS (photos) of your East German will be very helpful (essential, even).
