I was searching for something unrelated and came across this on Craigslist. I am not looking for another foldie, but this was pretty tempting. It makes me curious as to how it compares to the real thing. Surely for the price it can't be that bad?

I have experience with these clones. My judgement is that if you buy one of these, you should be prepared to spend about $150 to upgrade some critical parts - bottom bracket, tires, pedals, etc. Then you'd have a useful, daily riding bike. Still a lot cheaper than the original Strida.

BruceMetras can testify to the same conclusion. He's got his clone in pretty good condition now.
