HELP! I was recently broadsided by a car while riding my Giant Cypress.. I picked up some road rash and bruises. The bike took a worse beating... Amongst other things the front aluminum suspension fork was broken... I would like to replace it with a regular fork if possible... My question is what do I need to know regarding specs... I have looked at various web sites for new forks and they just say Mt bike fork or road fork etc... Are all the lengths etc standard after that ?.. Is the "rake" (the forward curve) on forks all pretty much the same.. The sites I have looked at (Nasbar etc) don't give any specs as though they were all pretty much the same..
Thanks
