Is Contador now better than Lance ever was?
Both would get rocked by Superman riding a huffy.

Is Contador now better than Lance ever was?
Yes, but only if he can win the tdf 6 more times....

Alberto proved yesterday that he does not have the tactical smarts that Lance has.
Maybe he can learn, but I doubt it. He is too impetuous. And he does not learn from his mistakes...

Does he even need the smarts? He seems like raw talent/ability.

He might need it when he loses the raw power.

In all seriousness though, and op troll aside, Contador is an amazing athlete, but he still has a long way to go. And don't forget that Contador has the luxury of being Lance's teammate this year. If they are on different teams next year, we might see a different story unfold.

I think he learned a big lesson yesterday, and to his credit he seemed to realize it almost immediately and regret it. I think he's finally turning the corner and could become a good leader.
Just so long as he stays the hell away from Vinokourov.
