....That my receding hairline is actually quite handsome. I shouldn't be happy with it, but I think it makes me look distinguished. Oh, how I agonized in my 20's about this day, but for some reason I'm at peace.
BUT...my damn pot belly!!!! CURSE YOU POT BELLY!!!!!!!!:troll:
I think you hairline draws attention away from your double chin and liver spots.

Good point. Those are freckles btw. You always told me the ones on my ass were cute.:p
I'm at peace with the double chin. Balances out my big nose, I think. Just to rid myself of this gut....

That wasn't budda. That was a drunken Chinese buddist monk that realized he never really had to work, and people would still feed him. Of course he was happy.

Just think that it is unique that they are arranged in smiley face, or they used to be. With age, they sort of look like a frown now, or a guy with bells palsey.:innocent:

That's not a smile. It's a face of an old, fat man with constipation.

The shame is, I'm in excellent shape. I understand that the middle aged pot belly is inevitable. JUst sort of hit me today I guess.
I'm very disappointed and a little scared that I may be pregnant?

No, limit yourself to 42 calories per day is what he was trying to convey. Sadly, he was too tired to type that much, due to lack of food.

Nonsense. That would limit me to one beer and a peanut a day.

I abide by the rule that cold beer forces my body to burn calories in order to maintain it's core temp. Every time I take a sip of a beer, I'm getting negative calories.

You're willingness to pay $8 for a six pack speaks magnitudes.

I lost the six pack for a while as after I injured my back I wasn't doing anything and discovered I could actually get fat... it has taken a while to get it back and it still isn't what it was.
I do crunches all day when I am sitting, walking, cycling, and lying down.
I can still wear the same clothes I did when I was 20 and am now 43.
Now... if I could do something about that ever expanding bald spot...

Had two New Belgium Blue Paddle lagers tonight.

I'm not really bald...more Jason Statham than George Jefferson. That's why I'm okay with it...I don't look bad. Actually, I look better than my former 20something mophead self!
It's the fact that I'm pregnant that disturbs me. I'm fit, cut, and....about three month along now?:(
I have a girlfriend too btw, who thinks I'm "sexy". But I told her she won't get any more until I shape up.;)
I just don't feel sexy anymore now that I'm showing. Is this normal?

Pfft. Why settle for a six pack when you can have a pony keg! :thumb:
WOW!! I must step in here before you guys self-combust!!
For one thing - a finely tuned middle aged man who bicycles is most awesome. Balding is fine, shaving is fine, gray is fine and ARGH!! etc is fine too. You guys are awesome out there.
Be yourself.
And after reading way too many dating website ads ----- Here's what not to state:
I love long walks in the moonlight.
Candle light dinners
Slow walks in the evenings, etc
and a bunch more like that.
cuz you know that's stated in way too many profiles. However there are females who want that so reiterate it that - Yes I really am like that.
And yeah - I've hit quite a few who I've weeded out where they LOVE THE OUTDOORS, CAMP, CANOE, ETC AND BICYCLE.
Come to find out ... their kids have the OLD tents, haven't been camping/outdoors in 15 years and the bicycle has been on the wall of the garage for the last 12 years ---
oh - and perhaps I can come over and help prep the bicycle so he can take a ride with me.
I give up.
But you guys ----- you look dam good - get yer butts out there!!

At 50, I have a no-pac, but no bulges, anywhere.
I attribute it to years of Raman Noodles, Seltzer water
and lots of jealousy, feeling sorry for my self, hatin' on others
and wishing it was 1979 again. Have you tried any of that stuff ?

Tude rocks...
I thrive on adrenalin and fresh air and even though the body is not always cooperative I am out there as much as possible... I cycle every day, walk (badly), love going to the park and pools, will be doing some camping and fishing this summer, and am planning on doing a little 400 km cycle tour as well as some shorter day tours.
There is no such thing as middle age.
