Life is indeed good, Police (not got a copy yet of report yet) says guy has insurance, & Guy told Police he was at fault.
Dr says only soft tissue damage. Said to stay off bike for a week but last night I had to try. I did 7.5 miles in 36 minutes on a trainer. Woke up at 4 a.m. with body telling me that was not a good idea. But it felt good.
Thanks all.

I'm happy that you were not seriously injured and really happy that I already ate dinner.
Thanks. That's enough pictures. Glad you're good enough to ride the trainer.

Fixed it for you. :)
Glad to hear your injuries are not too bad and that you'll probably be getting your bike replaced.
Listen to your doctor, he might just know what he is talking about and it might be for your own good.;)
That is not what I wanted to see first thing this morning...ouch! Man that is nasty looking. I can only imagine how it feels.
Glad you're getting back to it and soon it should all be healed and you will indeed be back 100%
Also glad the dude fessed up and hopefully a new bike is in order?

Good to see you got some time on the trainer (well, not exactly good to see). A little gentle rehab is probably good for you.

Take it EASY.
Yes, you heard that before. It was your body talking. So listen for a change.

I'm sorry you had the accident but I'm glad it all worked out so well. You've survived reasonably intact. Your activities have only been temporarily curtailed. The 'gent who hit you has been up-front and honest.
All that remains is to settle the damages to your bike and I hope that works out well also.
I'm hoping the pain is minimal and the healing is quick.
Best of luck to you.
