Pacific Northwest - Cycle Oregon 2009

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I'm signed up and ready to roll in September. Anyone going, want to get a BF group at the beer garden going?

PS We started a Sunday ride group to get in some long rides in prep for Cycle Oregon. If you live in or near Portland join us, shoot me a message and I'll forward info.
Just a couple weeks away, are you all ready for a fun week? I'm planning to come down on Saturday with a few stops along the way, then take in the Britt Festival on Saturday night, Gov't Mule should be fun!

I'll be there, at the start and the end since I live just blocks away from the park. I cant ride though, but hopefully I will have pictures starting tomorrow.
Shifty and 2thGrinder have a great ride!
I still remember that pie and the awesome ride.
I keep promising myself to do it again someday.

Cycle Oregon 4 was fun, wasn't it? I have some good memories of it.
My wife and I have done 4, 14, 15, and 16. We'll probably sign up for 24 just to keep the series going.

"Runaway Tandem Ramp". Still chuckling over that one. What a great week.
On the drive home I got off of I-5 to get a few things to bring home from Heaven On Earth (yes, the incredible rest stop). I LOL when I pulled into the parking lot and it was jam full of cars of CO riders, and inside was a mess with happy riders with all sorts of goodies!!!!
Heaven On Earth = Teh greatest cycling goodie foods ever!! :-)
Skip, no word on the guy, it may come out after a few days, pretty sad, but it happens.

Gotta watch out for those "natural causes"...
Shifty:
You recovering in time to do the Peach in Salem on Sunday?
Looks like it's going to be nice.
