Great Lakes - July 26th - Cleveland social ride

Ok, the other group ride thread is gasping for air and I don't know if the OP is going to check back anytime in the near future.

Fresh start. Who is up for a social ride in Cleveland on Sunday July 26th, say around 11am? We could either ride the route mapped by michaelwc: http://www.bikely.com/maps/bike-path/Tour-of-Cleveland-44mi

OR we could ride the Valley parkway to the Detroit shorway marina like Halfbent suggested a while back.

The weather report for Sunday looks good, mid 70's with a 20% chance of rain. Let's see if we can get enough interest for a ride this weekend.

I am up for the ride. I am hoping that the original one will go. We are more than likely rained on to the point that many are just like we would be in the winter; wondering if we will get to go outside and play. No matter what many may go down to the rides going this weekend at the walk and roll. As these two days, different from last years single, promise to bring out a lot of riders.

I'm in if I don't have a ton of work to catch up on this weekend.

Riding to the Detroit shoreway Marina. I have ridden this route once this year and thought it was enjoyable. I have an hour ride to get there so let's see if anyone joins in.

i might ride 1 way and drop off at the northern end if it's the marina i'm thinking of. that end is my final destination anyway.

i'd still like to do the cleveland loop. i was actually talking to the guy who writes yehuda moon about joining up since it passes through his area. sorry i dropped the ball on organizing. i blame the uncertainty on the weather and that's the story i'm sticking to. ;) I'll start a new thread when it's time.
