Does anyone else think, as I do, that "LA Confidential" will motivate LA this year? It seems to me that every year, somebody/some organization attempts to distract Lance. However, this strategy seems to be counterproductive, as these "distractions" only seem to motive, and anger LA more. We all know the capability of a well motivated, and angry Lance @ le Tour. This book may very well produce the type of motivation, and anger Lance got last year when he was dislodged from his bike @ Luz Ardiden.

What do you think ... distraction, or motivation??????

Motivation.

According to Procycling

Book has Armstrong all fired up
Lance Armstrong says that allegations levelled against him by the book "LA
Confidential" will make him "more motivated than ever" when he begins his quest for
a record sixth Tour de France title in Belgium on Saturday.
I went to their new web site, and could not find the rest of the story, however
I do believe that this will unleash a pisssed off Lance on the tour.

That's all he need is another reason to get motivated. The guy is amazing at digging deep and doing the "impossible". Everything negative gets him going, I personally think they did him a favor by printing that stuff right before the tour.

Perhaps the authors are secretly Lance fans and this was their ploy all along - get LA angry enough to kick @ss.

For more about what he really thinks...I'd be ticked if I was Ullrich (http://www.cyclingnews.com/news.php?id=news/2004/jul04/jul02news)

The part about the watts is REALLY funny.
