My name is Mark Bentley and I am 44 years young. I live in Winchester Il. I started riding a bike at 7 and road a lot thru HS but got away from it once I got married. I started back up again last fall and forgot just how much I had loved it when younger. I started a biking ministry at our church this year and I take a group of people somewhere every month mostly on rails to trails. We've had good turnouts and it's open to the whole family. I also collect bikes that I fix up and give people that don't have one so they can ride with us. I have about 30 still hanging in my basement, mostly old Schwinn 10-speeds and Walmart bikes. I really enjoy working on them and just giving them away. It's great to see people ride them each month at our rides. I personally like riding my 1973 Schwinn Continental that I've fixed up. It's one year older than the one I road throught HS but it's in great shape.
I enjoy getting out and riding between 20-30 miles at a time and will be riding in the Tour-de-Donut in Staunton Il. for the first time July 10th with 2 other guys from our church. I have 3 college age girls and they like riding with my wife and I. We are also Colonial Reenactors and avid fisher(wo)men. Those hobbies take a backseat this year to the biking.
