So I'm really enjoying riding alot more these days and have decided it's time for a proper road bike. Eventually I'll make the rounds to Zane cycles or Pedal Power both in CT. So I began to ponder the question with the tour on right now it's probably a bad time to buy a bike as a lot of people will see the tour and think hey I should buy a bike. So I was thinking there might be a more strategic time of year to buy a bike.
My thought is that it might be more advantageous to purchase a bike in the off season maybe at the beginning of fall of during the winter. I might fine a nice used bike that someone bought on a whim in the summer and realized it's not for them etc.... Is there a better time of year to buy to get the most bang for my buck as my budget will most likely be in the $600-800 range.
Thanks in advance
