refurbishing an old lugged steel Bianchi (I painted it orange though, never liked Celeste).
Mostly it will be used for gravel trail riding and winter training, but I'd like to try an actual race this fall.
Need some advice on parts - specifically brakes and the pros/cons of inline brake levers.
For brakes, I live in MD, so conditions definitely include mud. Doubt I will go for full swamp rides, however.
As for the in line brake levers, I've read some posts that these are frowned upon for racing. Is that just fashion, is there a rule, or is there a real reason for it?
