Hey everyone. I am about to receive an acer aspire one AOD250 in the mail soon, but would like to dual boot the little guy with ubuntu netbook remix. I am a newb to this linux department, but from my research it looks as if installing UNR and dual booting it is not difficult at all. Rather though, I would much prefer to run it just on a flash drive instead.

But is that easy? How does it work exactly?

Do I download the ISO or IMG on a flash drive and just plug it in before I boot the computer, and then I have the option to choose which OS I prefer for that session?

Will an SD card flash work in place of a usb flash drive? Thanks :p

If the SD card shows in the boot menu, then it should work. Some laptops can boot from it, some can't.

No dude, just get yourself a girlfriend, and you'll find yourself no longer compelled to say things like "from my research it looks as if installing UNR and dual booting it is not difficult at all". :)
