So I have a Surly Steamroller complete (for almost 3 months now) and I'm looking into getting the same Surly track hub put in the rear wheel, but with fixed threading on both sides. The shop said that they could put it in using the same spokes if all the measurments are the same as the hub currently in my rear wheel.
The flange diameters of both hubs are both 54mm. But the center to flange on my current hub is 31mm on the fixed gear side, but 30mm on the freewheel side. The fixed/ fixed hub I will be getting has a center to flange measurment of 30mm on both sides. Will this 1 millimeter on one side make a difference? I'd rather not buy new spokes but if this throws everything off I'll have too..
