Just wondering how many women here have problems with guys doing what's described in

http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=566067

I implied this was a woman thing, some guys have said it is outright. Some women think we're being meatheads.

So what's the verdict? Do women here also have problems with the BF/hubby/SO insisting they don't want food or drink items and then snarfing down your stuff?

They all do that.

Get a bigger plate and a bigger glass.

They will sex you up for that.

A lot of men do this that is why women spend so much on food when in a relationship with the opposite sex.

Does the stabbing fork go to the left or the right of the plate?

Huh, someone must have a problem with this, although I have seen some people (especially some ex-sisters in laws who have done the "Plate Violation")

I'll restate again - I've always ordered what I wanted and not held back due to potentially looking like I likes my food too much aka - You order a ham and cheese omelette and I politely order two pieces of wheat toast, no butter and a glass of water. And then watch you as you eat.

Fah.

I like food, I used to cook in restaurants - and I enjoy new menus and new foods - So, NO, I do not eat off your plate. Just get used to the fact that I like to share the bill as when I Do get out to eat, I like to eat well. It is a luxury to do that.

One of my pet peeves is people eating off my plate without asking, particularly when there is plenty of food around that they could eat (like at a party or other gathering). Sometimes when I'm at a family gathering, my siblings will eat food off my plate. It's not like they are in danger of starving because mom always cooks for 10^6 people. I have no idea why they take it off my plate instead of getting more. If they asked, I would be totally cool with it, like if they wanted to taste a small amount of something without having to get up from the table, go in the kitchen to the buffet and bring it back. But when people don't ask it's kind of annoying.
