I was wondering if it was possible to order just the frame of a recumbent trike? I have enough parts about that I could put together a very nice preformer if I could locate and order just the frame.

Any input is appreciated.

Thanks,

Andrew

Like many questions, it depends on the details.

Many manufacturers will sell a frame others will not. You can also use donor bikes (http://www.recycledrecumbent.com/) and produce your own frame (http://www.bentrideronline.com/messageboard/forumdisplay.php?f=12).

Performer is one of the rebranding of twbents I believe. They do offer frame kits for some of their bikes.

The price on Performer, actionbent and twbents are all pretty low compared to most recumbents. Even the full bikes are like getting a frame kit with components that you may or may not switch out.
