Hinault has a broken vertebrae without other major nervous damage.
And that's why you don't pick up a trauma victim by the armpits and feet, and fling them out of the ditch to the side of the road like they did to Hinault. That was inexcusable. There was no attempt at immobilization whatsoever.
I can't believe that the medical support is not better trained/prepared/supplied than that.
