Grandchildren that is.

Indie, Evie and Maddie (born yesterday) are all doing well but mama is recovering a little more slowly than we would like. The baby girls are 3 lb. 12 oz, 4 lb. and 4 lb. 2 oz so they'll have to stay in the hospital for a couple of weeks. Mom is hopeing to come home in 3 or 4 days.

I know that I've got some time but do you think it's too soon to start shopping for some little bikes?

Our oldest was just under 4 yrs' old when our twins were born. I remember those busy early years and the strain it was on my wife. I got to run away to the factory for 12 hrs at a time, she was stuck at home. The new parents will need some breaks from time to time.

Another of my children has a set of tripletts (now 8) so we know what has to be done and how to do it. Gonna be a lifestyle changer, though. For example, my son (the father) ran his last motocross race for a while last Sunday.

Don't worry- he will still keep fit with all the running around he will be doing.

I have enough trouble with one Grand daughter. Christmas will be expensive this year.

And start the yard sales for the kids bikes now. They never appear when you need them.

And remember to take it easy on the celebration tonight- Bike ride tomorrow.

Good idea! Does that come in a mountain bike freeride version? That's my son's preferred style of bicycling.

So lets see, 3 balance bikes. 3 toddler bikes, 3 bmx bikes and 3 mountain bikes for them, minimum. You'd better start saving up, that could get expensive.
