Took my 1980's Peugeot to Bicycle Tree Co-Op (http://www.thebicycletree.org/main.html) in Santa Ana today.

They really helped me, and I'm very, very appreciative. It didn't take a long time, and they took care of everything I needed. In addition, I learned a few things. What a great operation! Many, many thanks.

I didn't even know there was bike co-op in OC. Might have to check it out.

From the talk that I heard while waiting and while they worked on my bike, they are apparently getting noticed much more now than in the past. I arrived right around 11:00 a.m., and was done by 11:40, give or take, and by that time they were telling new arrivals the wait would be about two hours. If you go, I suggest you arrive prior to 11:00 a.m., unless you don't mind hanging around.

Bike Oven in Highland Park has been very busy, too. Same thing, some people get told that they have to wait for stand time ...
