Electric Bikes - Requesting Help Ezip Coastline

I have been in the past looking into buying a bike for maybe 4 months, I haven't owned or even been on a bike since I was probably 15 (27 now). Then two weeks ago i start looking at these ezip bikes and was thinking that's a cool idea, and right away i wanted to purchase one though like i said never been on one. Decided between these three "2008 eZip Trailz Men's Electric Comfort Bike" "2008 EZIP MTN Trailz Electric Mountain Bike (26-Inch Wheels)" and of course the 2009 coastline. I was leaning towards the coastline for a while since I prefer the color blue. But thought the mountain bike looked a bit too kiddy for some reason. The Comfort bike was more of what i was looking for but i kinda thought the color was ugly.
I'm also not up for painting. But i don't think there is much difference between them in terms of performance right?

Anyhow I just ordered it, since i have a discount for myself that was about to expire that gave me 20% off and free shipping. But after reading online manual it isn't clear to me what if any tools will i need to be putting this together? I want to make sure i'm fully prepared for when this arrives to just put it together, charge up the battery and take it for a spin.

But with that in mind i want to also add in a few extra's. Any recommendations on Bike computer/gps, rearview mirrors, lights?
Also i've been trying to find an extra battery that will work, i've already emailed ezip about this but i'm questioning what battery do i need? I don't think the ezip site is being very helpful. I think it's this one http://ezipusa.com/124-ezip-rmb-battery-pack.html since it's pictured with the bike i ordered, but it doesn't list it as compatible with my bike.
But this one is listed as compatible with my bike and while i believe it is. http://ezipusa.com/33-ezip-rmb-bike-battery-pack-gray.html I think rather the black one.


If I do like this bike I am considering purchasing Ezip Mountain Trailz or the 2009 Ezip Trailz http://ezipusa.com/42-ezip-trailz-diamond-frame.html as a 2nd bike.

We've sold a ton of these bikes in our shop! Because of the price and the nice upright seating position, the Coastlines are one of our most popular selling models. We've sold lots of accessories. Here are some suggestions:

1.) Upgraded Seat: Although the Coastline comes with a nice wide seat, it's definiely not the highest quality seat out there.

2.) Pannier Bags: Currie offers an excellent set of pannier bags for their "RMB" (rack-mounted-battery) bikes. It fits perfectly over the battery(s), looks nice, and has tons of storage space.

3.) Fender Set: We've installed fenders on several Coastlines and they look really nice. Plus, they'll keep rain and mud from splashing on you while you're riding.

4.) Lighting: If you ride at night, you might want a headlight / tail light. We have a few options, but you can find them almost anywhere. Wide tailights fit nicely on the rear rack by removing the reflector.

5.) Suspension Seat Post: The Coastline doesn't have any suspension. An easy and affordable way to provide a little extra comfort is to add a suspension seat post.

5.) Other Stuff: Large mirrors, bell, basket... all are popular with this bike.

It goes together tools that are provided, though I had higher quality allen wrenches (two sizes) and regular box wrenches (one or two sizes) that I used instead. I am a mechanical moron and had it unpacked and assembled in about an hour.

Tip: put the battery pack on the charger *first* before assembling anything. The first charge will likely be the longest one and may take the full 8 hours, but you can ride the bike around and make minor adjustments while you wait for that green light...

I put LED lights, my existing GPS, and a rearview mirror on mine. Not happy with the details of the mirror setup but the idea is valid.

All the RMB (rack mount battery) racks are interchangeable, AFAIK. If you have extra accessory funds to spend, I'd wait on the extra batt until later, and pick up a nice BatteryMINDer 24v charger for the same price. It will help get max life out of your batts. Plus if you get the extra bike you'll already have the extra batt, right? You can't ride two bikes at once unless you are bringing a friend (or work in a circus).
