Seems like the 40 seconds Armstrong gained on stage 3 was probably what put him into third.

The final results were so close that if Armstrong hadn't made that split due to the crosswinds, Wiggins would be third and Armstrong would be tied for fourth with Frank Schleck.

Ed hates Armstrong so expect him to chime in every thread about him and make something negative to say. Though, if Armstrong didn't gain those 40 seconds than you could of expected the race to play out a bit different. However, Armstrong has so much experience is it not ok he gains time from that rather than just pure attacks out on the climb like Contador? That is what seperates an "old fart" like him from those young bucks.

I've been looking for an ignore button forever since Armstrong came back for people who say the same thing about him everytime.
