Be the first to correctly identify the location of the statue in the photograph, and I will send you a two-year old but unused water bottle from the Old Mill Century.

The bottle has a capacity of 21 fluid oz. It has a wide mouth, a screw top, a tapered bottom and a soft rubber mouthpiece. This is a nice bottle and fits standard water bottle cages.

To enter this exciting contest, just make your best guess in a reply to this thread. The first person to enter the correct answer is the winner. I will acknowledge the winner in this thread and contact him or her by personal message or email to arrange for shipment. If you don't want the bottle, or if you don't want to tell me your shipping address, don't bother entering the contest. I will not sell your address or use it in any way except to mail you the bottle.

I would rather not ship internationally, so individuals with addresses outside of the U.S. probably shouldn't enter.

There are some other people who shouldn't enter, too. You know who you are.

I will be the sole judge and authority in this contest. I alone will determine the winner. Close doesn't count. There may be other statues identical to this one, but I want to know where this photo was taken. Contest ends at Midnight Central Standard Time, on July 6, regardless of whether a winner has been announced.

O.K.? Here's the picture. Where is this statue located?

seems that it's too easy. How about this? Many of the locals did not even know it's there! It has been removed, so it's even harder to guess.

Mohammad Ali steel statue.

RG, send me a reminder PM about this in a couple of days so I can rally the troops here and get a few people to come with me for the Old Mill ride.

Thanks!

Koffee

I feel like that, sometimes. That's why they make statues.

(My first guess was a Polish cavalry soldier in WWII. I feel like that, sometimes, too.)
