I caught the last ten minutes.

It sucked.

It sounded like they regurgitated Olympic telecast music from ten years ago and paid a summer intern -majoring in English lit. - to write the crap that came out of Hummer's mouth.

I feel sorry for those viewers whose only exposure to the TDF was this show.

Ok, I feel better now.

Hearing the TDF reported on by American news outlets is painful at best, just sooo ignorant. I didn't see this thing on CBS but the rest of the stuff I saw in the last 3 weeks was depressing at best. It's like how people in LA jump on the Laker band wagon about 2 games into the final 7.

I watched the whole show. There were some pretty pictures, but compressing 3 weeks of racing into a 1 hour show (probably 30 minutes after the commercials) really ruins the drama. This show will be very confusing to people who don't already know what happened.

Not just American news. I watched some English and French news shows and their coverage was just as bad as the US news shows. If you don't get Versus, you can find much better coverage on the internet than on TV.
