Can anyone tell me a ballpark figure of how much this bike is worth? Or anything else about it? It has had the seat and rear tire replaced

Too bad they put a racing seat on it, and did not match the front tire. To get top dollar for this bike, both of those pieces would need to be changed out. Tires need to match, and a whitewall looks right on this bike to me, so I would need to find a second white wall. Seat needs to be one of those large cushioned seats with exposed springs.

What is the serial number on the bike? The wheel reflector on the front is from the modern era.

I don't know the particular model, but basically it looks like a Schwinn middle weight, which can be confirmed if it has S-& wheels/tires (26 x 1 & /4).

My understanding is that the Schwinn middleweights shared the same frame, and were differentiated by components...

Tank: Present or not.

Fenders: Stainless steel, chrome, painted...

Racks: Front, rear or both, and different styles.

Drive train, Single speed, 2 speed or 3 speed

The name of the particular model is often on the chain guard. If you can't see it clearly, look close and/or scrape off any rattle can spreay paint.

The date can be determined by looking up the serial number on a list... the serial number is probably on the right rear dropout.

The chain guard can also help narrow the year, and I am not sure with the reverse angle, but yours looks like post 1960. Does it contain a chrome section?

Depending on specific model, the price varies, even though I don't really understand why, since to me they are all so similar.

My 1956 Corvette came with front rack, stainless fenders, Sturmey Archer 3 speed, and no tank.

My 1961 Jaguar Mark IV came with front and rear racks, stainless fenders, Sturmey Archer 3 speed, and a tank.

The chain guards are different between the two bikes due to the year. The original handlebars are also slightly different for the same reason.

Depending on your location, I think your bike would be worth between $525 and $100
