Anyone have any ideas on how they would mount their computer to the stem?
If I did the thing would be sideways?
I was thinking of laying it down and using zip ties?

Any thoughts?

Depends on the type of computer. Some come with a stem mount in the box.

Many computers you can modify the mount to turn it sideways or they sell a stem mount separately, what computer are you using?

My friend has that one I think and we mounted it to his stem. I'm pretty sure you can pull the core out that the computer clips to and turn it sideways. Check the instructions.

if you really want to mount to the stem you can try the method above but if you would consider a new place to mount it. you can get a little attachment that screw onto your aero bars

I'd bet that you can push the center part of the mount down and end up with two (non-broken) pieces. Rotate the center bit 90 degrees and put the thing back together.

I will play around with it and see if I can get one of your methods to work. My other thought was to try and straighten it out and use wide zip ties to hold it down...then clip the excess off. I just fear that it will wiggle its way loose.
