I'm already a Junior Member and haven't introduced myself yet. I'm just a regular guy who is slightly bike-obsessed. I don't race and I'm too old for BMX but I do most other kinds of riding: Touring, supported and self-contained; Mountain Biking on a hardtail; Commuting; and just general riding around. I live for the Tour de France and cannot talk about anything else in July. I'm president of my local bike club. And I'm shy about sharing too much personal detail on the web.

Let's see, I started riding seriously during the 10 speed craze of the 70s. I got into the sport again when I quit smoking about 10 years ago. I have a little knowledge to share and a lot to learn.

NOW...the question of the hour is: How do I change the description under my name from "Junior Member" to something custom and cool?

You have to be a senior member to do that... just keep posting. I think you need to have 50 posts, or something... it seems like such a long time ago now. :)

Welcome to the forums, BTW. We're all just regular guys, to tell the truth... and a good many of us go Tour crazy in July [and Giro crazy in May... and Vuelta crazy in September... you get the picture...]

Naw....at this rate 50 posts shouldn't take long.

...and some of us are Regular Girls. Welcome to the forum, RegularGuy. I look forward to your posts and hope to learn a bit. Yeah, it doesn't take too long to rack up the posts. :)

Some of us are still riding the 10 speed craze (though to be honest I've gone to 12 on both of my bikes!) :)

Welcome.

Well, hello, RegularGuy. Welcome! I am new, too. We can be new together!

How has the riding been lately?

:D
