Foo - Mystery Egg

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I walked down to the pond to listen to the frogs and in the middle of the field I almost stepped on this.

I don't have a chicken.
No cracks in it but there is yolk on the shell.

It fell through a worm hole and was teleported there. Has to be it. That's how it got there.
Yeah. That's it.
I think it is one of chipcoms evil spawn. I mean that guy cross dresses and sleeps around. I would fry eat and eat it, just to be safe.

Sunny side up anyone?
If it was in the middle of a field perhaps a kildeer or a pheasant egg?

Is it a hard shell, or somewhat soft?

You should put it back where you found it. :(

Ducks!
unless its got a leathery shell....then look for mama gator in that pond.
snappers and green turtle eggs are more round and somewhat leathery and soft

Duck eggs are way larger than that, and most (if not all) turtles and tortoises bury their eggs, as do alligators and Crocs.
Oh, and chances are, thats not yolk on the shell. :twitchy:

Playtpus
Platypus (Ornithorhynchus anatinus) is a semi-aquatic mammal endemic to eastern Australia, including Tasmania. The eggs are about the size of a mans pinky nail, or about 11mm, so even if you do live in eastern Australia it's still to large to be the egg of a Playtpus. :D

I'll lay you odds you have a "Free Range" chicken hanging about. Likely an escapee gone wild.

Fine then, I change my vote to spiny anteater.
Is there a number on it?

We have the occasional wood duck, but I think their eggs are larger and more brown.
We have a great blue heron pair, no way is it theirs.
It's not a reptile egg.
If it is a chicken egg it's kinda small.
I'm going to go with Synapsid egg.

The egg does not glow.
Wether or not it has a three eyed fish inside is unknown.
This does lend credence to the teleportation/worm hole theory though.
