After watching Stage 21 and Astana drinking Champagne while riding to Paris, how many kids will break into their parents wine cellar and steal a bottle and pretend to be Lance or Alberto.

as long as the kids don't steal the krug, pol roger, laurent-perrier or salon, it's okay.
they can take the roederer, moet, perrier-jouet, veuve, bollinger, billecart-salmon,
gosset, heidsieck, delamotte, philipponnat, taittinger no questions asked.:thumb:

Thanks for the idea. Finishing off a bottle of red tonight. But, tomorrow it will be "just like Astanas in Paris" night at Chez Fred.

You're assuming kids are even watching the TDF.

Kids don't have to raid their parents' wine cellar in most of Europe - they can just buy it at the store.
I'm pretty sure that I've lost count of the number of times I've seen Champagne being consumed in the Champs' Elysee, and nobody has ever brought it up before. The fact that this thought even entered your head proves that you've obviously been corrupted by listening to too many public service nannys who worry about way too many things that are not their business.
Oh, I would guess none, but if they are out on a bike and not on the PS3 then the world is still a better place.
