Tandem Cycling - Ibis

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
For classic tandem people in the Boston area, I just saw this:

The "Big Toe" pump peg is just strange.

The "Big Toe" pump peg is just strange.
It's actually called the "Toe Jam" pump peg and the little hand that serves as a brake cable stop is called the "Handjob".
Perhaps one of the funniest things that Ibis came up with was its Moron tubing; it's a double entendre.
In one respect moron was just a way of calling double-butting something other than double-butting in that there was simply 'more steel on' each end of the tubes, i.e., more-on or Moron.
However, the other reason Ibis elected to call their tubing Moron was far more in line with the mindset at Ibis: it was simply a play on the latest and greatest steel tubing from Columbus... the Genius tubing.
