Does anyone know the status of the Nockamixon Century for 2009? I can't find anything saying if Suburban Cyclists is or is not running it this year. Seems strange that it would quietly go away after all these years.

The "Nock" is not being run this year, but may be back next year (they'll discuss it next year). There were a number of factors that contributed to this, not the least of which was the impact on club members having to focus on two events each year (the Nock in late Aug., and their Quad ride in early May). It was tough on members running two events within 3 1/2 months. As I said, there are other reasons too, but this was a big one.
