Professional Cycling For the Fans - Vino's suspension has expired -- correct?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Wasn't July 24th the end of Alexander Vinokourov's two-year suspension?
Presumably he will be back at Astana (actually the shell of Astana -- without Bruyneel, Armstrong, Kloden, Leipheimer and others).
I'm a little surprised that I haven't seen any articles about his return. Has anyone heard anything?

Yeah, he's back. In this VeloNews article (http://www.velonews.com/article/96355/what-next-for-vino) his return is chronicled.
Vinokourov lined up Tuesday in the French Castillon-La Bataille criterium without a formal team, racing instead with a jersey emblazoned with his photo in an Astana jersey and the phrase, “Vino 4ever.”
Now who else would race with a jersey featuring a photo of himself? Maybe Hinault? That's why I love Vino.
My question about all of the drama surrounding the new Astana: Will it make benefit glorious nation of Kazakhstan?
