Interested in opinions on both of these bikes. I am looking at this from a component stand point. Which has the best overall components based on performance, reliability, ease of maintenance ( I do it myself mostly ), and cost. The riding I do is mostly on pavement with some light off road. I have left out the brand/model numbers/names on these so as not to get skewed results based on a preconceived notion on names. Although I admit it is probably easy to tell what brand they are. Please dont give me flak about that, I just wanted an honest comparison. I will say that one is double the price of the other. But is it worth it?
Edit: I forgot to say that I do ride a lot. 50+ miles a week atleast.

Get the number #2 I have the same bike and it will serve you well. The number one is a very nice bike but from you descripton of your ridding its overkill.
