Has anyone ever repaired a tubular CX tire before? I'm very new to tubular tires and I recently bought a used set of tires from a team mate (BTW who fully disclosed the issue). There is a small tear in the tread of the tire, where a knob meets the flat section. about a 1 mm. She used sealant but the leak is still there. It takes about a day to lose most of its air but not all. My thought is to apply a small amount of patch glue directly into the tear with a syringe and then add more sealant to the tire. Does this sound feasible?

the way i repair tubulars is peel back the basetape, cut the stitches, patch the tube like a regular tube, sew back up and use glue to reattach the basetape. time consuming, but works alright.

This is a Tufo. Can you disassemble a Tufo?

oh. no. tufos arent reparable in the traditional way due to their construction. try getting a can of vittoria pit stop.
