Mountain Biking - Any Places to ride in SC-GA-FL that i could make a weekend trip out of???

looking to find a good place to ride down here, something that i could ride all day, camp at night, and continue on my trek the following day. im from the North East, so im not used to having no good places to ride, ive been looking around, but ive been unsuccessful in my searches.

On the coast, not too much, but if you go inland towards the North side of Atlanta you'll get your fill. Helen, GA, Elijay, GA, and the Gainesville, GA areas are all very nice. You can ride the Olympic course at Conyers, GA It's called the HorsePark.

1)Try Pisgah Forest in Brevard, NC.
2)North Mills River near Horseshoe, NC
3)Bent Creek near Asheville, NC

All of these places offer excellent riding & are close to the major highways....

I'd go to Tsaili on Lake Fontana, Hwy 28 about 12 miles west of Bryson City, NC. You have 4 well marked single-track trails there totalling about 45 miles with a very nice National Forest campground about 100 yds from the trail-heads.
